Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS): £2,500 Support for Air-to-Air Heat Pumps
The UK Government has broadened the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) to include air-to-air heat pumps, making it easier for homeowners in England and Wales to switch from traditional fossil-fuel heating to cleaner, energy-efficient electric systems.
You don’t need to handle the grant application yourself— as MCS-certified installers we will manage this and reflect the discount directly in your quote.
You can benefit from the scheme if you own a home in England or Wales, have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) issued within the last 10 years with no outstanding recommendations for loft or cavity wall insulation.
Under the rules of the scheme the new system must replace an existing fossil-fuel (gas, oil, LPG) or electric heating setup and should be installed by an MCS certified installer using products that meet the BUS standards.
